- Assisting with installations, trenching, setting up water-management or effluent systems, pumps, drainage and farm infrastructure.
- Keeping accurate records of work carried out; completing paperwork, service logs, job cards.
- Ordering job-specific products

What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with agricultural machinery, farm equipment, or rural servicing — ideally with mechanical, electrical or hydraulics background.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, ability to work independently and reliably.
- Good communication and customer-service skills — able to explain issues clearly to farmers and clients.
- A hands-on, can-do attitude: willing to tackle varied tasks, adapt to changing priorities, and get stuck in on-site or in workshop work.
- A great sense of humour—because some days, you just have to laugh.
- Someone who is flexible to cover leave, reliable, consistent & “gets sh*t done”.
- A valid New Zealand driver’s licence

- Variety and challenge — every day is different, with a wide range of equipment and systems to work on.
- Opportunity to build technical skills across mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems, with ongoing learning as farm technology evolves.
- Be part of a supportive, down-to-earth team who understand rural life and value quality workmanship and service.
