About the job:

We're looking for a hard-working Wastewater Serviceperson to join our team of everyday heroes in New Plymouth!

In this role you will be required to carry out the physical work needed to complete Wastewater projects, that are of high quality, to meet contract requirements.

This will involve general labouring as required, using hand tools and operating plant, equipment and machinery safely to achieve high levels of satisfaction.

What you'll need:

• Ideally you will have previous experience in the Water Industry and may have (or be working towards) your Level 4 National Certificate.
• A Class 1 License (with the ability to drive a manual vehicle).
• Wheels, Tracks and Rollers License Endorsements.
• Experience with trenching and excavation, as well as competence operating plant and equipment would be highly advantageous!

All preferred candidates will be required to complete preemployment checks to the employer's satisfaction. These checks include but are not limited to, ministry of Justice criminal conviction report, medical assessment, and drug and alcohol testing.
