Garage Door Technician / Installer (Experienced or Trainee) Kāpiti Coast | Servicing the Wellington Region Full-time | Monday–Friday

The Wellington region’s best-reviewed garage door supply, installation, repair, and maintenance company is growing and looking for a new team member. We are seeking either an experienced Garage Door Installer / Technician or a motivated trainee wanting to learn a trade and build a long-term career with a respected local business.

About the Role This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same. You’ll be involved from quoting right through to job completion, often working in sole charge. You’ll be working across residential and commercial sites throughout the Wellington region, carrying out:

Supply and installation of garage doors (roller, tilt, and sectional) Automation of garage doors and gates Repairs and maintenance on all types of garage doors Customer-focused service with a strong emphasis on quality workmanship

About You We’re looking for someone who:

Has garage door or similar trade experience OR strong motivation to learn Has excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Delivers great customer service and communicates well Can work independently and as part of a team Is reliable, honest, and takes pride in their work Has hand tool experience Holds a full, valid NZ driver licence
