What we’re looking for:

  • Scaffolding qualification – NZ Certificate of Competence (COC) or recognised overseas equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years’ scaffolding experience in a similar role
  • Class 2 truck licence will be advantageous
  • Hard-working, reliable, and safety-focused
  • Positive attitude and works well in a team

Other details of the role:

  • This is a full-time, permanent position
  • Job description: This role reports to the Leading Hand and Operations Supervisor. Key duties include (but are not limited to): o Erecting, modifying and dismantling scaffolding in line with safety standards o Loading, unloading and transporting scaffolding materials o Planning scaffold builds under the direction of the Leading Hand o Maintaining a safe, tidy worksite at all times o Working collaboratively with site teams and supervisors
  • Location: Lower Hutt, Wellington
  • Hours of work: Standard 45 hours per week, minimum guaranteed 30 hours per week
  • Standard hours: 7:00am – 4:30pm, Monday to Friday
  • Overtime: Available depending on workload
  • Pre-employment requirement: Must pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Pay range: $25 - $35 per hour (based on your skills and experience)
