About the role
Are you a skilled Blaster Painter looking for your next contract opportunity? Stellar Recruitment is seeking an experienced Blaster Painter to join our client based in Mount Maunganui, Bay of Plenty. This role is offering the chance to work on a variety of projects in the Trades & Services industry.
What you'll be doing
- Preparing surfaces by blasting, grinding and cleaning to the required standard
- Painting and coating surfaces using specialised equipment and techniques
- Ensuring all work is completed to high quality standards and meets project specifications
- Would be required to work out of town on a number of occasions
What we're looking for
- Experience as a Blaster Painter, ideally within the Industrial or Marine industry
- Strong technical skills in surface preparation and the application of specialised coatings
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
- Strong health and safety awareness
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- NZ Citizens or Resident visa holders
- Valid Site Safe holder
