What You’ll Bring to the Table | Ngā Mea ka Mauria e Koe ki te Rūnanga:
Full Class 1 Licence Previous painting experience of at least 3 years. A passion for delivering high quality workmanship.
What You’ll Be Doing | Ngā Kawenga Takohanga Painting & Surface Preparation
Carry out interior and exterior painting in line with maintenance schedules and reactive works. Prepare surfaces using appropriate methods including sanding, scraping, filling, sealing, and priming. Apply paint systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications and best practice guidelines. Complete patch repairs and remedial works prior to painting (e.g. minor plaster repairs).
Ensure finishes meet agreed quality standards and asset aesthetic requirements. Work within agreed timeframes while maintaining workmanship standards. Minor Associated Repairs (Painting Related) Undertake minor surface repairs to walls, ceilings, doors, trims and other paintable surfaces. Replace minor fittings associated with painting scope (e.g. door hardware removal/reinstallation for painting access). Make safe any minor defects identified during works and report issues outside painting scope.
