INDUSTRIAL PAINTER / COATINGS APPLICATOR Canterbury | Christchurch Based | Full-Time
About The Role We're looking for an experienced Industrial Painter / Coatings Applicator to join a specialist team delivering high-quality coatings across commercial and industrial projects throughout the South Island. Based in Christchurch, this role offers a great mix of workshop and on-site work, with opportunities to work away and build your skills in specialist coatings systems.
Wages $30 - $40 per hour (depending on experience) Location Christchurch, Canterbury

What You Will Be Doing
- Applying protective coatings to structural steel
- Assisting with passive fire protection (intumescent coatings)
- Surface preparation including abrasive blasting
- Working across both site and workshop environments
- Maintaining high safety and quality standards
What We Require
- Experience as an industrial painter or coatings applicator
- Knowledge of coating systems and surface preparation
- Strong focus on health and safety
- Reliable with good attention to detail
- Valid Site Safe or Construct Safe - we can assist
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
