We’re urgently looking for experienced Sealant Applicators to join a fast-paced commercial project in Hastings. This role is suited to skilled workers who can hit the ground running — you’ll need to be quick, efficient, and able to deliver a high standard of work without supervision. This is not an entry-level role. We need people who know what they’re doing and can keep up with a tight project schedule — there’s no time for training or mistakes.

Location: Hastings, Hawke’s Bay Pay rate: $28–$34 per hour (paid weekly)

What you’ll be doing:

• Applying sealants using a sausage gun on large-scale commercial construction sites
• Working across expansion joints, precast panels, glazing, and exterior cladding
• Preparing surfaces including cleaning, masking, and removing old sealant
• Delivering clean, precise finishes at pace without compromising quality
• Keeping up with a fast-moving site programme and tight deadlines
• Maintaining a tidy, safe work area at all times
• Working alongside other trades on a busy commercial site

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience using a sealant (sausage) gun — this is essential
• Background in waterproofing, glazing, painting, or TQ painting highly preferred
• Ability to work fast, efficiently, and to a high standard
• Must be able to work unsupervised and manage your workload
• No room for error — strong attention to detail is critical
• Clean police record
• Must pass a drug test
