Experienced Painter - Immediate start

Total Decorating Nelson Limited is seeking an experienced Painter to join our team in Nelson Central Tasman. This is a full-time position, offering a competitive salary and excellent benefits. As a Painter, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting services to both residential and commercial clients, contributing to the company's continued growth and success.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing surfaces for painting, including sanding, filling, and priming
• Applying paint, stain, or other finishes to various surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spraying equipment
• Ensuring a high standard of finish and attention to detail in all painting work
• Providing excellent customer service and managing client expectations
• Adhering to all health and safety guidelines and regulations
• Assisting with the maintenance and care of painting equipment
• Collaborating with the team to ensure efficient and timely project completion

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a professional Painter, with a strong understanding of painting techniques and materials
• Excellent eye for detail and the ability to achieve a high-quality finish
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients
• A valid driver's licence
• Flexibility to work on various projects and adapt to changing job sites and schedules
