Job Opportunity: Drainage Operator – Team Leader Location: Greater Auckland Region Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: Competitive, based on experience Are you a skilled drainage operator ready to take the lead? We’re looking for a motivated and experienced individual to join our team and head up residential and commercial drainage projects. If you thrive in a hands-on environment and enjoy leading a crew to get the job done right, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team on housing drainage installations and repairs
- Operate machinery including diggers and trucks (Class 2 license required)
- Install and maintain septic systems (experience a bonus)
- Execute commercial and residential drainage works
- Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to high standards
What We’re Looking For
- Class 2 license – essential
- Digger operating experience – essential
- Septic installation experience – highly desirable
- Certifying drainlayer – preferred but not essential
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Reliable, proactive, and safety-conscious
