About Gas Appliance Specialists

We are Auckland’s authorised service centre for Rinnai and Brivis, while also installing, servicing, and repairing all major brands of gas appliances across residential and commercial properties. Our work includes:

• Ducted gas and heat pump heating systems
• Gas and heat pump hot water systems
• Gas cooking appliances and gas fires
• Servicing and repairs across all gas appliance brands
• Duct installation, cleaning, and ventilation services

We’re known for delivering high-quality, compliant workmanship, investing in training, and backing our technicians with strong office and technical support.

The Role

This position blends advanced certifying work with team leadership, offering variety, responsibility, and progression. You will:

• Carry out certifying plumbing and gasfitting work to NZ standards
• Install, service, and fault-find gas appliances across all major brands
• Support and supervise field technicians
• Lead by example in workmanship, safety, and professionalism
• Complete compliance documentation and commissioning
• Work directly with customers on higher-level jobs
• Help maintain and improve technical standards across the team

What We’re Looking For

• NZ Certifying Plumber & Gasfitter licence
• Experience supervising or leading a team
• Strong technical knowledge across a wide range of gas appliances
• High standards of workmanship and compliance
• Confident communicator who enjoys mentoring others
• Reliable, organised, and professional
• Associated Tradesperson Licence or be keen to obtain one
• Full NZ driver’s licence
• Permanent NZ residency
