About the role
- Take ownership of plumbing crews across new residential builds and sizeable commercial projects
- Run jobs end to end. Plans, materials, team workflow, and client conversations all sit with you
- Work alongside builders, subcontractors, and suppliers, keeping everyone aligned and jobs moving
- Bring through the next generation of plumbers by mentoring apprentices and junior staff on site
- Uphold NZ plumbing standards and site safety as a non-negotiable across every job you touch
Skills and experience
- NZ Qualified and Certified Plumber holding a current licence
- Proven background leading crews or stepping up as a leading hand. This is a genuinely autonomous role where your experience lets you run the job your way
- Someone who leads from the front, picks up the tools, and sets the standard. This role suits a seasoned plumber who backs their own judgement
- Solid grasp of NZ plumbing codes, regulations, and what best practice looks like on a live site
- Full Class 1 licence, clean and current. Applicants requiring visa sponsorship cannot be considered
