Licensed or Certified Drainlayer - Christchurch

Joe's Drains Ltd is a small Christchurch drainage company looking for an experienced Licensed or Certified Drainlayer to join the team. Yard based in Brooklands, with work mainly around Christchurch.

We’re after someone who takes pride in tidy, high-quality work and is comfortable working alongside the owner as well as running sites when required. You’ll also help train an apprentice on site.

Our work includes repairs and relays, new CCC laterals, E-One tank installs, new house drainage and smaller commercial jobs, with occasional prep work, concrete work and minor landscaping. Good variety of work.

Requirements

• Licensed Drainlayer
• Able to set grades and operate lasers
• Confident operating excavators, sometimes in tight spaces
• Good communication with clients, homeowners, and builders
• Works safely and to a high standard
• Respectful working on people’s properties

Bonus: Class 2 truck license, CCC authorisation

Pay: Competitive and dependent on experience.
