As a Drainlayer your key responsibity will include:
- Provide general Drainlaying services
- Ensure all planned and reactive maintenance, remedial work, fault diagnostics and installation works are carried out in an efficient, effective and safe manner as requested or directed by the Supervisor.
- At all times enthusiastically carry out all works in a professional and tradesman-like manner to a level of quality that meets current accepted industry standards.
- This role entails working unsupervised, or as part of a team, to deliver high quality drainlaying services.
- As this is a service position it requires an individual with the willingness to work flexible hours and the ability to manage their own time, and the time of others, in order to meet deadlines.
- The incumbent is responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for self, colleagues, customers, and the general public.
- As part of the role you will assist in championing the continued development and delivery of the Company's guiding principles
This is an ideal opportunity for you to utilise your previous experience in the following areas:
- Experience in installation and maintenance of drainage services and equipment
- Experience in commercial installation and maintenance
- Have the ability to respond to and satisfy customer requests
- Competency with using hand held equipment including small power tools and excavation plant and machinery
- Proven ability to maintain a safe work environment while working within health and safety requirements
With the following preferred requirements
- NZ Registration or Certificate for drainlaying
- Valid, unrestricted NZ Drivers Licence with applicable endorsements
