We’re looking for experienced drainlayers to join major civil infrastructure projects kicking off this coming January. If you’ve got proven drainage experience and a strong commitment to health and safety, this is a great opportunity to secure consistent hours and long-term work.
Location: Various sites across the Wellington region Start date: January 2026 Pay rate: Competitive rates (paid weekly)
You’ll be responsible for:
- Installing and maintaining civil drainage systems
- Working as part of a team to deliver high-quality outcomes
- Supporting safe site practices and contributing to project success
To be successful, you’ll need:
- Minimum 2+ years of drainlaying or similar civil experience
- Drainlaying qualifications (highly desirable)
- Understanding of drainage installation methods
- Reliability, teamwork, and a strong health & safety mindset
- Tickets such as Class 1, WTR, or confined space (advantageous)
