We're looking for a Juted Asset Protection Manager to lead our security, surveillance, and loss prevention functions across Tauranga, Rotorua, Waihi, our Distribution Centre, and our production plant. This is a pivotal role that helps ensure our team, customers, and community feel safe, supported, and proud to shop and work with us.

What You'll Be Doing

In this leadership role, you will oversee all aspects of asset protection, including:

Security & Surveillance

• Managing real-time CCTV monitoring across all Juted sites
• Ensuring systems are maintained, optimised, and fully operational
• Analysing footage and preparing detailed incident reports
• Monitoring access control systems and responding to alarms or breaches

Investigations & Incident Management

• Conducting thorough investigations using Auror and other analytic tools
• Supporting police and external agencies with evidence and reporting
• Providing real-time support during major incidents or emergencies
• Leading post-incident reviews and recommending improvements

Loss Prevention Leadership

• Working closely with store Loss Prevention teams to reduce shrinkage
• Coaching and training store teams on theft prevention and incident response
• Reviewing trends, identifying risks, and implementing preventative strategies

Risk, Compliance & Continuous Improvement

• Conducting regular security audits across all sites
• Ensuring compliance with privacy law, legislation, and company policy
• Supporting emergency preparedness planning (evacuations, lockdowns, etc.)
• Developing and updating security policies, procedures, and guidelines

Technology & Innovation

• Supporting the rollout of new CCTV, access control, and security systems
• Testing and evaluating new technologies to enhance detection and prevention
• Troubleshooting system issues with IT and external vendors

Leadership & Collaboration

• Acting as the central point of contact for all security-related queries
• Building strong relationships with Store Managers, Operations, LP teams, and law enforcement
• Supporting onboarding and capability development for LP and store teams
• Coordinating security efforts across all Juted locations

• Strong understanding of privacy law, legislation, and compliance requirements
• Proficiency with security technologies, analytics tools, and digital reporting systems

Technical Expertise

• Deep knowledge of CCTV infrastructure (PTZ, stationary, fisheye cameras)
• High-level proficiency in security software and monitoring platforms
• Strong analytical capability using tools like Auror
• Ability to oversee system performance, integration, and optimisation
