Night Patrol Officer

Armourguard - Hawkes Bay is seeking for 3 reliable, proactive, professional, confident and trusted individuals to join our dedicated team.

As a Night Patrol Officer, you’ll be part of a mobile team conducting after hours patrols, securing public spaces and infrastructure, responding to alarms and ensuring the community is safe, secure and ready for the day ahead.

This role suits someone calm under pressure, observant, and committed to helping others.

Key Responsibilities:

• Securing buildings and sites across urban and semi‑rural areas
• Conducting high‑visibility mobile and foot patrols
• Documentation and escalating incidents
• Carry out welfare checks and coordinate effectively with supervisors and emergency services.
• Securing premises by locking and unlocking buildings and gates and monitoring suspicious activity.
• Respond promptly and professionally to alarm activations, incidents and emergencies -Maintain accurate documentation while always delivering excellent customer service.

Mandatory Requirements: To progress through the recruitment process, you must consent to and be able to satisfy pre-employment checks, including:

• Driver’s License, Credit Checks, Ministry of Justice Criminal History and Immigration checks.
• Currently reside in the Hawke’s Bay region and be legally eligible to work in New Zealand.
• Hold a current Certificate of Approval (COA)
• Hold a full clean NZ Driver’s licence
• Articulate and a comprehensive understanding of the written and spoken English language.
• Strong communication and observational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable transport to get to and from work sites
