About the role: We are seeking for a reliable, professional, trusted Security Guards, who are flexible to work weekends, afternoons and night shifts, to join our Blenheim team of dedicated security personnel.
As a crucial guardian of public safety, you will play a vital role in supporting key sites across Blenheim by ensuring the security of infrastructure, preventing trespassing, vandalism, and other offences that may occur on-site. This role places a strong emphasis on accurate written reports, monitoring entry and exit points, and delivering a high standard of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular patrols and site checks
- Respond to alarm and noise complaints
- Monitor and report any suspicious activity
- Respond to incidents and emergencies professionally
- Maintain clear and accurate records
- Provide excellent customer service while ensuring site safety
Mandatory Requirements: To progress through the recruitment process, you must consent to and be able to satisfy pre-employment checks, including:
- Driver’s License, Credit Checks, Ministry of Justice Criminal History and Immigration checks.
- Currently reside in the Blenheim/Marlborough region
- Hold a current Certificate of Approval (COA) or be able to obtain one

- Hold a full clean NZ Driver’s licence (manual essential)
- Articulate and a comprehensive understanding of the written and spoken English language.
- Strong communication and observational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transport to get to and from work sites
