Description

Beveridge Locksmiths is the Wellington region’s largest and most trusted locksmith company, with 18 service vehicles, 2 shops, 28 employees and 45 years of trading experience. Our clients demand a full range of locksmith services to meet domestic, commercial, safe, automotive and electronic security needs with professional corporate systems and processes to back them up.

To meet growing demand in the greater Wellington region and beyond, Beveridges requires the services of another experienced and/or qualified locksmith with a minimum of 3 years industry experience to join our field service team.

You will be allocated a modern, fully equipped and stocked van, and utilise our mobile Infusion job management system via your own net book. Basic tools of trade and summer and winter uniform will be provided at Beveridges' cost.

You will be required to roster on to our on-call after-hours service one week in four that significantly increases your annual earnings if you do the calls (typically an additional $25,000/year).

Your competitive pay will reflect your experience and qualifications (minimum $28.50/hour to maximum $35/hour) for a minimum guaranteed 40 hours (standard five-day working week) and no more than 48 hours per week (if you so choose). You'll have the option to participate in our sales incentive scheme, if you so choose, which could add another $1,250 to $12,500 gross per annum as an estimated achievable maximum.

Plus you’ll be entitled to our subsidised health insurance scheme (worth approximately +$2400 per annum) if you choose.

This job is based from our central Lower Hutt office and workshop from where you'll be dispatched daily in your mobile van/workshop to your jobs in the greater Wellington region.

The incumbent will be required to hold a current MOJ Security Technician certificate of approval (COA badge) or be sponsored by Beveridges to obtain one after meeting the required 12-month period. You’ll also be expected to actively contribute to providing a safe and sustainable workplace.

Assistance will be provided to those relocating from outside of the Wellington region.
