Tō kamupene hou | Your new company: We have an opportunity for an experienced Service Fire Technician to join a well-known Auckland business. This role would suit someone with 5+ years' experience in fire service and maintenance who is confident working autonomously, managing their own jobs, time, materials, and customer relationships. Tō tūranga hou | Your new role: Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, remedial service work, and some installations across a range of fire protection systems. This role will largely be autonomous, so you'll need to be confident planning your day, managing your workload, and working to deadlines. You'll also work closely with customers and suppliers, so strong communication skills and the ability to build lasting relationships will be key.
Ngā uara me ngā pūkenga e angitu ai koe | What you'll need to succeed:
- 5+ years' experience within the fire protection industry
- Strong knowledge of fire alarm standards, compliance, and installation practices
- Experience across commercial and industrial installation, servicing, and maintenance
- Confident working with building services and fire protection systems
- Strong customer-facing experience with the ability to build and maintain key relationships
- High commitment to health and safety standards
- Full New Zealand driver's licence
- Full New Zealand working rights - sponsorship is not available
