Thinkwater Auckland South is looking for a water service technician to fill a full time, permanent role. The role is varied & includes maintenance & trouble shooting issues, installation of new equipment such as pumps, filtration, irrigation, swimming pool & spa equipment & identifying sales opportunities.
Ideally you will have pumping, mechanical, electrical or other technical experience & skills. Specific industry experience is a bonus but not necessary as we give training to the successful candidate.
The person who will succeed in this role will first & foremost have good work ethics, the right attitude & drive. A can-do attitude is a must, as is initiative, motivation & the ability to get on with the job with limited supervision. Since you are on a customers property, representing our business, you will have the highest level of integrity & agree to a police background check before employment. You must be physically fit & healthy.
We are a service business; therefore, you will have the flexibility to work around a roster system that will include after hours & weekends.
You will be in charge of a work vehicle, so you will have a full, clean NZ drivers licence. A heavy traffic or tracks & rollers licence is an advantage.
