Data Technician Saco Cabling Limited Full Time role Pay range: $28-$38 per hour Applications close: 4/03/2026

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of two years experience in all aspects of structured cabling installation.
- Excellent workmanship.
- Experience installing leading cable brands to ASNZ standards and manufacturer's specifications.
- Manufacturer's certification in a Tier 1 structured cable product.
- Working knowledge of health and safety practices. Site Safe passport preferred.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret technical documentation and plans.
- Ability to complete a job alone and to work as part of a team.
- Great communication skills.
- Drivers Licence required.
- Police vetting and MOJ criminal record clearances will be required.
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
End to end structured cabling system installation to industry and manufacturer's standards including new installs, repairs and MACs. Including but not limited to:
- Copper cabling installations, terminations and testing
- Fibre terminations and testing
- Installation of various cable containment
- Use of Fluke testers
- Installation of APs and active equipment
- Working with plans and project documentation
- Keeping accurate time and job records
- Liaising with clients, team members and other trades
- Following health and safety policies and practices
- Contributing your knowledge and expertise with planning, implementation and troubleshooting
