GT Marine is an award-winning marine workshop and outboard specialist, and we’re on the lookout for a qualified Marine Technician to join our growing team.
Our purpose is simple: help New Zealanders enjoy better boating through reliable, high-performing boats. In this role, you’ll work across outboard servicing and repairs, jet ski servicing, marine electronics installs, and the fit-up and sea trials of new Honda outboards as one of NZ’s leading Honda dealers.
Reporting to the Managing Director, you’ll manage jobs end-to-end and deal directly with customers, so strong communication skills are essential. You’ll be organised, methodical, and a genuine team player with a passion for boating and fishing.
About you:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience with 2 and 4 stroke outboards
- Full, clean driver’s licence
- Engine rigging experience (a bonus)
The role is full-time (40 hours per week) with some overtime required in the busy season. You’ll have the chance to get out of the workshop to perform mobile services from time to time.
