The position – Site Technician Reporting to the Field Technician, you will provide hands-on site and field support to the technical team. This role is practical and physically active, focused on manual work, surface preparation, operation of power tools, servicing equipment, and ensuring work areas are prepared and maintained to support coating applications and trial activities. You will assist with field work when required, helping with setup, pack-down, preparation, painting and general labour to ensure trials and technical activities run efficiently. Your key summarised focus areas are:
- Site support and preparation work
- Field support for coating applications and trials
- Equipment servicing and maintenance
- Operation of power tools and site equipment
- Supporting safe and efficient technical operations
We are looking for someone who is practical, reliable, physically fit, and enjoys hands-on work. You take pride in doing things properly and safely and work well as part of a team. Required: To excel in this role, you should possess the following experience:
- Experience and technical expertise with applying marine coatings.
- Experience working in boat yard and hardstand environments.
- High degree of practicality and hands on capabilities.
- Comfortable performing physical work and operating power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Good awareness of health and safety practices.
- Reliable and team-focused.
- Full, clean driver’s licence.
