Who we are | Ko wai mātou We have one of the largest horizontal infrastructure teams in the South Island working in the maintenance, civil, and water industry. The work we do strengthens the communities we work and play in, with several key long term maintenance contracts throughout the Canterbury region and a number of civil projects currently being completed throughout the South Island.

About the role | Ko te kaupapa
We are seeking a skilled GPR & CCTV Operator to safely operate Ground Penetrating Radar and CCTV pipe inspection equipment. You’ll work as part of a multi – skilled team on roading, utilities and construction projects, ensuring compliance with company standards.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Operating GPR and CCTV units to carry out accurate inspections.
  • Completing scheduled and reactive tasks efficiently and safely.
  • Performing daily checks on plant and vehicles and ensuring equipment is well maintained.
  • Keeping accurate records of timesheets, job costs, and plant logs.
  • Following health and safety policies and promptly reporting hazards or incidents.

What you'll bring | Ko ngā pukenga ōu

  • Full Class 1 Driver Licence (essential), class 2/4 and STMS (desirable)
  • Experience operating GPR or CCTV units for inspection.
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Computer literacy (advantage)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physically fit and safety considerations
