About the Role Our client is expanding operations in Invercargill, creating an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Forklift Mechanic. This role offers a mix of technical work, customer interaction, and on-the-road independence.
Key Responsibilities
- Test and inspect forklifts to ensure readiness
- Diagnose and fix hardware/software faults
- Maintain long-term client relationships on-site
- Support fellow service technicians
- Respond to breakdowns and occasional call-outs
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures
What You’ll Bring
- Proven forklift repair experience
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Confident communicator with customers
- Willingness to learn – full training available
- Current forklift licence
