Description

We are looking for Insulated Panel Installation Specialists in Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Hawkes Bay, Manawatu and Wellington. You will be expected to travel to different sites across the North Island, often returning to the same site and location in multiple roster cycles. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in the installation of insulated panels or similar construction related fields. Experience in commercial, industrial or cold storage environments is highly preferred. As an Insulated Panel Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and accurate installation of insulated panels in a wide range of buildings, such as warehouses, cold storage facilities, industrial plants, and more. This role requires technical expertise in handling and installing large and heavy materials, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work in various weather conditions. You will work closely with other tradespeople and site supervisors to ensure that the panel installation process is completed according to project specifications and within deadlines. Applicants will be required to have the following attributes:

  • Strong understanding of insulated panel materials and their thermal, acoustic, and weather-resistant properties.
  • Experience using hand tools (e.g., hammers, screwdrivers, levels) and power tools (e.g., drills, saws, impact drivers) for panel installation.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, and technical specifications.
  • Knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and industry best practices.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights, with physical stamina to work for extended hours in hot and cold conditions. In this strong team you will need to be a great communicator with attention to detail at times. You will need to be confident working both working on your own or in a team. Typical schedule is 10.5 days on, 3.5 days off. Onsite work is Monday through to the following Thursday between 12pm and 2pm dependant on travel schedules. Travel/flight times to the worksite take place Sunday afternoons/evenings to arrive in the supplied accommodation for work commencing 7:00am Monday morning. Costs associated with the travel and accommodation will be met by the business. $29 -$31 Per hour Guarantee of 30 hours per week 2 references from previous related construction roles Pre employment drug and alcohol testing with random on-going testing No smoking or vaping on site Must have a clean criminal record Must have a current clean drivers license Please send your CV outlining your work experience with dates and names of companies
