Rutherford Fitness – Takanini, Auckland. Casual Position | $24–$27 per hour
Rutherford Fitness is a proudly NZ-owned business with over 25 years of experience leading the hire and sale of home fitness equipment nationwide. We’re looking for a casual Delivery Driver to join our team and help deliver equipment across the greater Auckland region.
About the Role
- Casual position, averaging approx. 10-20 hours per week, primarily Monday–Friday, with occasional voluntary Saturdays
- Hours vary based on weekly delivery schedules and may increase as the business expands
- Based out of our Takanini branch, supporting Auckland-wide deliveries
What You’ll Be Doing
- Deliver, set up and demonstrate fitness equipment for customers across Auckland
- Assist with complex deliveries (e.g. upstairs, narrow access, or disassembly)
- Assemble, service, and repair equipment (in-branch and occasionally on-site)
- Provide professional, friendly service at every touchpoint
- Learn key logistics, servicing, and customer support processes
What We’re Looking For
- Practical, physically fit and fine with heavy lifting
- Full NZ driver’s licence, able to drive manual & automatic van/Class 1 trucks
- Reliable, punctual, honest, and hardworking
- Positive attitude, great communication, and a willingness to learn
- Passion for health & fitness
- Comfortable using basic tools for assembly and repairs
- A friendly, professional approach with customers and teammates
- Flexible schedule
- Adaptive to the needs of a face-paced environment
