Fertiliser Spreader Driver

Spreading Canterbury specialise in the application of fertiliser throughout the Canterbury region. We are currently seeking a person to join our team as a full-time spreader driver. Spreading Canterbury prides itself in providing excellent service to customers, great team working environment, modern fleet of trucks which have the latest of in cab technology. We are looking for a good sort with an awesome attitude to work alongside our current crew so previous experience is not necessary as full training will be provided.

The ideal candidate should have/be:

• Minimum of a Class 2 Drivers Licence
• Reliable, honest and a good work ethic
• Flexible to work longer hours in the peak season and on Saturdays if required
• Good people skills to communicate with both the office and customers
• A reasonable level of physical fitness due to the physical nature of the role
• Be responsible for the safety of yourself, workmates and the public
• High regard/respect for vehicles & equipment
• NZ residency or valid NZ work visa

Unlike other jobs we offer a guaranteed 40-hour week, regardless of the weather, an attractive hourly rate to the right applicant and health insurance provided. Successful applicants will be subject to a pre-employment health check and drug and alcohol screening.
