The Company
Our NZ owned and operated client based approximately 10 minutes from Invercargill and who is the second largest milk processor in NZ has an exciting opportunity for an experienced forklift operator.
The role
This is a shift work position working 6 days on and 3 days off. There are 2 shift patterns, 6am until 3pm and 3pm until midnight. . This is primarily a forklift-based role and will involve the loading and unloading of incoming trucks, scanning of products and some computer work.
To be considered for this role
This position will see the successful applicant operating machines between 3 and 5 tonnes so previous experience is a must. You must also;
- Hold your current OSH certificate
- Have prior experience in a busy and large warehouse environment
- Be competent in the use of scanners and the ability to use a computer
- Have your own reliable transport
- Must be able to work within a team environment
- Must be Health and Safety conscious
- Must have a reasonable level of oral and written skills
