Job Description About the role
As a driver, you will be responsible for operating one of our new trucks with up-to-date equipment to ensure a safe and timely collection of service throughout the Taranaki region. These trucks are dual steering and require collections while driving standing up on the left hand side.
You’ll also be required to keep accurate records and paperwork and undertake vehicle safety checks.
This is a physical role, collecting/sorting glass as well as food, so you will need to have a reasonable level of fitness. Early starts in all weather work environment.
From previous experience, you’ll already know the importance of health and safety in the workplace, and contribute to our goal of making sure everyone gets home safely.
Qualifications About you
You are customer-focused and enjoy interacting with customers and colleagues. You’re comfortable working independently and pulling together as part of the team.
- A clean and up to date Class 2 New Zealand driver’s licence
- Relevant driving experience
- Aware, responsible and skilled
