About the role: A requirement for an experienced Class 5 Driver who is flexible, can handle different truck makes including older models and Road ranger gearboxes, and has solid knowledge of tipping, truck and trailer operations. You'll also be able to assist with civil labour tasks when needed. Bring your 5+ years' experience to safely and efficiently keep projects moving across Auckland sites in busy civil construction environments.
Duties: · Pick-up trucks from South Auckland yard - daily different makes and models. · Deliver construction materials, equipment, and machinery across sites as required. · Communicate with yard and site supervisors to ensure smooth logistics. · Assist with civil labouring tasks during downtime from driving duties.
Skills & Experience: · Experienced in civil construction. · Experienced Class 5 truck driver with 5+ years' experience. · Strong communication and record-keeping skills. · Excellent knowledge of Auckland geography and safe truck driving and able to assist with site labouring when needed. · Experienced driving various trucks, including older models and Road ranger.
Requirements: · Current Class 5 licence with WTR endorsement · Physically fit · Able to pass drug and alcohol test
