Class 2, 4 & 5 Truck drivers

• $26-$33 p/h based on exp + Day shift Mon to Fri, approx. 50-55 Hours a week.

About the Role

We are seeking reliable Class 2, 4 and 5 Truck Drivers for ongoing opportunities within a well-established transport operation. This role involves operating curtain-side trucks, transporting primarily palletized freight across Auckland, with some deliveries into Waikato and the Bay of Plenty. You'll begin in a floating position, learning the operation, supporting yard activities, and providing relief driving across the fleet. This provides a strong understanding of the business and creates a clear pathway into a permanent position with your own assigned truck. This is a Monday to Friday role with no weekend work. Shifts typically start between 5:00am and 6:00am and finish between 4:00pm and 7:00pm, averaging 50-55 hours per week. What's on Offer

Pay Rates

• Class 2: $26.00 per hour
• Class 4: $27.00 - $28.00 per hour
• Class 5: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour

Rates are dependent on license class and experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Load, secure and deliver primarily palletized freight
• Complete deliveries safely and on time
• Undertake occasional hand unloads and tail lift deliveries
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report defects
• Follow all health and safety requirements
• Maintain clear communication with dispatch, customers and yard staff
• Assist with yard and operational duties when required

What We're Looking For

• Current New Zealand Class 2, 4 or 5 License
• Previous truck driving experience
• Strong attitude towards safety and compliance
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Eligible to work permanently in New Zealand (Citizens, Permanent Residents, and Resident Visa holders encouraged to apply)
