Class 5 Civil Truck and Trailer Driver We’re on the lookout for an experienced Class 5 Civil Truck and Trailer Driver to join a busy civil team working on projects across Tauranga. This is a day shift role suited to someone confident working on active civil sites and committed to safe, efficient operations. Details Location: Tauranga Start date: Immediate start available Pay rate: $32–35 per hour (paid weekly) About the role You’ll be operating truck and trailer units on civil construction sites, supporting earthworks and infrastructure projects with reliable cartage and site support. Key duties
- Operating Class 5 truck and trailer units on civil construction sites
- Carting aggregates, metal, soil, and other materials
- Tipping loads safely and efficiently on site
- Loading and transporting machinery and attachments when required
- Completing site-to-site, quarry, and yard runs
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance
- Securing loads and complying with transport regulations
- Working safely around plant, crews, and live sites
- Communicating with site supervisors and dispatch
- Completing run sheets and logbooks
What we’re looking for
- Full Class 5 licence
- WTR licence
- Proven civil construction trucking experience
- Truck and trailer / tipper experience
- Site Safe (or equivalent)
- Strong site safety awareness
