AUGER DRIVER - Permanent or Fixed Term NIGHT SHIFT

Logistics Solutions (NZ) Ltd is a privately owned company that specialises in cartage of stock feeds and bulk raw materials from vessels, stores, and feed mills to stores and farms throughout New Zealand.

We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced Class 5 Drivers to join our team based in Tauriko (Tauranga area). These roles are mainly to drive our fleet of auger trucks however, flexibility to driver other units in our fleet at times is a must. Logistics Solutions operates 24/7, with some drivers working Sunday to Friday and others Monday to Saturday as our trucks are double-shifted. You’ll need to work well with your shift mate and keep things running smoothly between handovers.

What You’ll Bring:

• Good customer interactive skills
• Minimum two years’ experience driving 50 MAX Truck and Trailers, with backing experience
• The ability to handle various truck configurations
• Safe loading and unloading of freight
• Experience driving on rural roads
• Good geographical knowledge throughout the greater North Island
• The ability to manage your time efficiently
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Ability to fill out pre-trip inspection every day
• Experience driving 18-speed road rangers or a willingness to learn
• Respect for your work colleagues
