Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, we are seeking to employ an experienced and professional Fuel Tanker Driver. This is a permanent full time position based in Christchurch, working night shift (starting at 5.00pm), Sunday - Thursday. We offer a rate between $38.88 - $40.00 per hour.

The key responsibility of this role is to ensure the safe transport and delivery of fuel to meet our customer demands in a compliant manner, these deliveries will include bulk deliveries. You must ensure that all delivery runs are completed efficiently and within time. You will also be required to load transport, maintain the vehicle in a roadworthy condition and assist with any other work that may be reasonably required.

- Permanent contract with a minimum 80 hours guaranteed pay per fortnight
- Days of work are Sunday - Thursday inclusive, a weekly roster will be issued a week in advance
Minimum requirements:
- 2 years’ driving experience
- Class 5 License
- Must be confident and experienced with towing a trailer
- Must be physically fit. The role involves multiple stops each working day which means a significant number of times you will be required to climb in and out of the cab.
- The role also requires fitness to be able to climb up and down ladders at many customer sites.
- ‘Live’ load experienced preferred
- Current Dangerous Goods License, or the ability to obtain one
- Flexibility to meet the demands of the operation (some seasonal demands)
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- To communicate with other stakeholders
- To document and complete all necessary paperwork including timesheets, reports, logbooks, declarations etc.
- Must be capable of using a smart phone and in-cab tablet device (with training provided)
- Dedicated to following health and safety and standard operating procedures
- A proven track record of operating safety
- A customer focused, solutions-based attitude
