Job DescriptionWe are seeking Expressions of Interests for Class 2 and 4 Drivers to join our team in Rangiora. In this role, you will be responsible for operating various types of vehicles, ensuring safe and timely transportation of goods or passengers.
- Operate trucks in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections to ensure proper functioning and maintenance.
- Plan and follow designated routes, utilizing navigation tools and map-reading skills..
- Maintain accurate records of completed jobs, mileage, and vehicle condition.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures related to transportation and safety.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers as needed.
Qualifications- Valid Class 2 and/ or 4 driver's licenses are required.
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of road rules and regulations.
- Ability to operate various types of vehicles, including trucks.
- Strong navigation and map-reading skills.
- Attention to detail and a safety-conscious mindset.
- Relevant driving experience, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry.
- Knowledge of local roads and routes in the Christchurch area is preferred.
- Familiarity with transportation regulations and laws is an advantage.
