We are seeking a motivated and experienced Class 5 Line Haul Driver to join our clients dynamic team. Join us to advance your career in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 5 vehicles to transport goods between designated locations in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with traffic laws and company policies at all times.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any safety concerns or maintenance needs.
- Keep accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and other relevant data, in compliance with company policy and transport regulations.
- Provide excellent service to our clients by maintaining clear and professional communication.
- Load and unload cargo as needed, securing it properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Collaborate with dispatchers and other team members to optimize delivery schedules and routes.
- Represent the company in a professional manner, showcasing our commitment to customer satisfaction and safety.
Qualifications
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience with truck and trailer operations.
- Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards.
- Ability to lift and maneuver heavy items in a safe and controlled manner.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse clients and team members.
