Class 4 Driver
Are you an experienced Class 4 Driver looking for your next opportunity in Hawke’s Bay? Tradestaff is seeking reliable drivers in Hastings to support concrete transport and site operations. If you’re confident driving manual trucks and have experience working around concrete or stabilising equipment, this could be the role for you.
Location: Hastings, Hawke’s Bay Start date: Immediate Pay rate: $28–$32 per hour depending on experience – paid weekly
The Role You’ll be operating Class 4 vehicles transporting materials to and from worksites while supporting concrete and stabilising operations. This role suits someone who is confident behind the wheel, safety focused, and comfortable working around busy construction environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating Class 4 trucks (manual and automatic)
- Transporting concrete and site materials safely to and from worksites
- Securing loads and ensuring safe transport practices
- Supporting site operations and coordinating with crews
- Following all health and safety procedures on the road and on site
- Stabiliser operator experience highly regarded
What We’re Looking For
- Clean Class 4 driver licence (Class 5 advantageous)
- Experience driving manual trucks
- Road Ranger gearbox experience preferred
- Experience driving concrete trucks highly regarded
- Stabiliser operator experience desirable
- Reliable, hardworking, and safety focused
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
