About the role:

The Night Loader is responsible for loading / unloading freight between the Dockway, and the truck in a safe way whilst ensuring the quality and security of the products

Key Responsibilities:

• Loading and Unloading goods onto trucks
• They may need to sort and organize products within the warehouse to facilitate efficient loading procedures.
• pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment to move goods within the warehouse and onto trucks.
• Responsible for sweeping floors, disposing of packaging materials, and maintaining overall cleanliness in the warehouse.
• They need to communicate with truck drivers and other warehouse staff to coordinate loading activities, report any issues or delays and ensure smooth operations.

What We Offer:

• A 3-month fixed term position in Blenheim, 40 hours per week from Sunday to Thursday from 10pm to 6:30am.

What you Bring:

• Hardworking, honest, and reliable
• Fit for work - lifting, pushing, pulling, movement of freight by hand and trolley is required.
• Flexible in your approach - a typical day may include loading freight, driving, processing freight deliveries, doing the paperwork and providing great customer services.
• Able to manage your workload and meet deadlines.
• Organised in processing your documentation and keeping your paperwork in order.
• Good team player, with initiative and ability to perform quality work in a safe manner.
