The Opportunity Join an established New Zealand freight forwarding business that's investing in better systems and smarter processes to reduce chaos and create smoother workflows. You'll take ownership of air freight shipments from booking through to final billing, working in a high-trust environment where capable operators are backed to run their workload with genuine autonomy. Your Responsibilities You'll manage the full export process with genuine ownership and accountability. Your day-to-day will include:

• Managing air freight export shipments end to end, including documentation and client communication
• Sourcing rates from airlines and handling quotations for export clients
• Processing billing accurately to protect margin and revenue
• Providing sea freight coverage when needed, including FCL/LCL processes

About You You're someone with solid air freight export experience who can manage shipments confidently from start to finish. Ideally, you've worked across both air and sea freight modes and have some familiarity with dangerous goods handling, though we're open to candidates with strengths primarily in air freight.

More than your technical experience, you're someone who:

• Takes full ownership of your shipments and runs them through to completion with minimal need for escalation
• Approaches challenges calmly and practically, making sound decisions without overcomplicating straightforward tasks
• Works in a structured way, understands the commercial impact of accurate rating and billing
