Mata Gas is a family-owned business with branches around New Zealand. Our services are growing, and we require a motivated LPG Bobtail Driver at our new depot opening soon in Westgate, Auckland. The ideal candidate needs to be mechanically minded, adaptable and work well in a team with a positive attitude and willingness to learn. They will also be able to work independently and take responsibility for the tasks set for the day. Friendly customer service manner is crucial, and you must be able to work well under pressure with customers.
This role will require you to work for a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Job Description Daily job might include but not limited to the following tasks:
- Provide a high level of customer service to customers in a timely manner.
- Unload/reload the cylinder delivery trucks.
- Provide LPG deliveries to customers in a safe manner.
- Attend Health and Safety toolbox meetings.
- Always comply with all health and safety and company policies
- Other duties as directed from time to time.
Qualifications & experience
- Current Class 2 Drivers Licence and a minimum of 12 months commercial driving experience in New Zealand.
- DG Endorsement.
LPG experience is preferred. References required.
