Join a Global Leader in Commercial Mowing Innovation

Trimax is a rapidly growing New Zealand company and a globally recognised leader in commercial mowing equipment. For over 40 years, we’ve proudly designed, manufactured, and distributed world-class mowing systems built on innovation, reliability and exceptional performance. With operations across New Zealand, Australia, the UK, and the USA, our commitment to excellence and a customer-first approach have made Trimax a trusted name worldwide.

Our Supply Chain is a key competitive advantage and plays a critical role in how we support customers across our global markets. To deliver this as we grow, we are looking for a capable Export Supply Planner to join our team based in Tauranga.

As the Export Supply Planner, you will play a key role in ensuring spare parts and manufacturing components are available in the right markets at the right time - supporting our diverse customer base and their uptime requirements while balancing investment in inventory and freight. Your ability to build relationships with our global team along with the effective use of our systems and ongoing data maintenance will be key to being successful in this role.

Key Responsibilities

Supply Planning & Execution

  • Monitor overseas stock levels and requirements for NZ sourced parts, creating system orders in line with shipping plans.
  • Work with the local warehousing team to ensure shipment in full and address any issues that arise.
  • Manage supply risks, shortages, and exceptions to minimise disruptions.
  • Maintain regular cross functional discussions to identify issues and establish effective action plans.

Master Data Ownership

  • Own and maintain planning-related master data including forecasts, lead times, order policies, safety stock, and other planning parameters.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems and markets.
  • Resolve data issues impacting availability, inventory, or planning performance.

Inventory & Stock Ownership

  • Set and manage stock levels and planning parameters for local markets across all spare parts and NZ made manufacturing components. Collaborate with the local teams and global sourcing to ensure a good understanding of market needs.
  • Actively manage excess, slow-moving, and obsolete inventory by consolidating, redirecting or proposing disposal.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify and implement improvements to supply planning, inventory management, and data quality.
  • Support standardisation of planning practices across local markets.

To be successful in the role you will be

  • Experienced in supply planning, inventory planning, or material planning
  • Ability to communicate well across multiple teams in different timezones.
  • Competent user of ERP systems and able to work effectively with data (D365, SAP or similar)
  • Strong understanding of master data and its impact on supply performance
  • A practical, improvement-focused mindset
  • Experience in manufacturing, parts, or mechanical industries will be an advantage.

Why Trimax
