Connings is a long-established, respected market garden growing and supplying premium local produce to markets and our own Connings Food Market. Behind every great bunch, box, and crate is a slick dispatch operation — and that’s where you come in.

We’re looking for a hands-on, switched-on Produce Dispatch Coordinator who thrives in a fast-moving environment, loves staying active, and takes real pride in getting the details right.

The role

• This is a pivotal role in our post-harvest operation. You’ll be right at the action point where fresh produce is checked, packed, coordinated, and sent out to customers at its absolute best.
• No two days are the same — it’s physical, it’s fast, and it’s hugely satisfying.

Hours

• Full-time: 8.30am – 6.00pm (rostered)
• One half-day weekend shift required
• Flexibility essential during peak harvest periods

What you’ll be doing

• Accurately entering and managing customer orders
• Preparing, packing, labelling, and dispatching produce to a high standard
• Coordinating crates, pallets, and dispatch logistics
• Maintaining quality control, food safety, and compliance standards
• Keeping the workspace clean, safe, and well organised
• Jumping in to support the wider post-harvest team when needed
