Experienced Forklift Operator

At Trevelyan’s, our people are at the heart of everything we do. We’re looking for experienced Forklift Operators to join our team for the season and support the safe and efficient movement of fruit, packaging, and materials across site.

Mō Tēnei Tūranga Mahi | About the Role

As a Forklift Operator, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our operations running smoothly by ensuring fruit, packaging, and sundry items are moved efficiently in and out of storage and dispatched accurately for use across the packhouse and coolstore.

Your mahi will include:

• Operating forklifts safely to move fruit, packaging, and materials
• Supporting storage, dispatch, and packing operations across site
• Ensuring accurate placement and retrieval of stock
• Following Health & Safety, food safety, and site procedures
• Working closely with Operations and Packhouse teams
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
• Roles are available on day shift and night shift, operating on a 6 days on / 1 day off roster, with 10-hour shifts.

You’re safety-conscious, dependable, and take pride in doing the job right. You’re physically fit, follow instructions well, and remain focused in a busy operational environment.

You’ll bring:

• At least 12 months’ forklift operating experience
• A current and valid forklift licence
• A strong Health & Safety mindset
• Reliability and a positive, can-do attitude
• The ability to work shift work, including nights and weekends
• Availability to pass a pre-employment drug test
• Able to provide referees if successful through the interview stage
• Your own transport to get to and from work as required
