ABOUT THE COMPANY Our client is a privately owned International Freight Forwarder, Customs Brokerage and Logistics provider. They have a strong global network and they pride themselves on developing and maintaining long term relationships with customers and suppliers.
ABOUT THE ROLE This is a sole-charge role, requiring a high level of reliability, initiative, and accountability. While there are other staff based in the office, you will be working independently in the warehouse and yard, managing day-to-day operations without direct supervision.
You will play a key role in ensuring warehouse and yard operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
ABOUT YOU You will bring warehouse experience and a good level of physical fitness, as the role includes manual handling. Freight forwarding experience is desirable but not essential.
To be considered, you must have the following:
- NZ Driver licence (Class 2)
- Current forklift licence or OSH endorsement
Ideally, you will also have the following skills:
- Strong attention to detail and computer skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proactive, reliable, and able to use initiative
- RACA and MPI accreditation is desirable, however training can be provided if required.
