Labourers - Devanners

Coverstaff is Palmerston North's leading supplier of temporary staffing solutions to iconic companies in the Manawatu region. This is your chance to join our team.

We are interested in talking to people who are in excellent physical shape who want to work.

You will be responsible for devanning containers and similar work, all labour done by hand and involving heavy lifting. Shifts are 8 hours and we have both outdoor, in-warehouse and in coolstore work available, so if you enjoy cool conditions, make sure you specify your interest in that role.

Safety is our paramount concern, and while the work is hard and physical, we ensure you work in safe conditions, with appropriate PPE and necessary breaks. Strict rules are in place for weight and lifting requirements.

Pay rate is $24-50 to 25-50 per hour and you will have the opportunity to work towards permanent placement is some roles. Having a current FH certificate and experience can increase your pay rate.

Please note: You must be resident and have full work rights, and you will be required to complete pre-employment drug testing and undertake Ministry of Justice checks.
