Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Night Shift Team Leader to join a well-established company within the refrigerated warehousing and storage logistics industry, based in Waharoa. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where you will be responsible for leading the night shift warehouse team and ensuring all products are handled in accordance with customer specifications.
About the role:
- Lead and oversee night shift warehouse operations in a refrigerated environment
- Ensure inventory movements and outbound loads are accurately recorded
- Allocate daily work tasks and manage workflow across the team
- Ensure staff are trained, competent, and hold the correct licences for the equipment they operate
- Maintain high standards of safety, accuracy, and efficiency
- Communicate effectively with the wider operations and logistics teams
About you:
- Minimum 2 years' experience working within a stores / warehousing environment
- Proven experience leading or supervising teams
- Current OSH certificate is an advantage
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confident using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong organisation and time management skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable working in a chilled / refrigerated environment
Hours of work:
- Monday - Friday
- 7:00pm - 3:30am (night shift)
