About Lincoln Logistics Lincoln Logistics is a trusted freighting and logistics company based in Tokoroa. We specialize in transporting various types of freight across the Waikato, Bay of Plenty, and North Island, utilizing our extensive fleet and covered warehouse facilities.
About the Role We are seeking an experienced, motivated and reliable Storeman to join our team. This role primarily operates Monday to Friday, with Saturday shifts during peak seasons. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that all products are safely loaded, unloaded, stored, and transported without damage.
Key Responsibilities
- Loading & Unloading: Handling palletized products and bulk bags efficiently.
- Record Keeping: Completing documentation accurately and conducting verification tasks (e.g., pre-start checks).
- Inventory Control: Inspecting incoming/outgoing goods, managing non-conforming products, and participating in stock takes.
- Cleanliness & Safety: Maintaining hygiene standards, following food safety procedures, and reporting rodent sightings to prevent product contamination.
What we are looking for:
- Experience in forklift operations.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
- Exceptional attention to detail, reliability, and a solid work ethic.
- A strong commitment to health and safety in all aspects of the role.
- Strong computer literacy, including data entry and use of internal systems
- Comfortable using computers, tablets, and digital reporting tools
