EQUIP Recruitment is seeking a dependable Delivery Driver to support a busy manufacturing operation. This role suits someone who enjoys being on the road, isn't afraid of hands-on work and takes pride in doing the job right.
You'll be responsible for delivering manufactured products to residential and commercial sites, while also assisting in the factory when required. No two days are the same and reliability and attitude are key.
What You'll Be Doing
- Loading products accurately using delivery paperwork
- Checking items for damage prior to dispatch
- Contacting customers to confirm delivery times
- Driving a Class 1 vehicle to sites across the region
- Unloading products safely and obtaining delivery sign-off
- Keeping the vehicle clean, tidy and road-ready
- Completing basic vehicle checks and documentation
- Assisting with factory tasks during quieter periods
What We're Looking For
- Full NZ Class 1 driver licence
- Comfortable with physical, hands-on work
- Good communication and customer-friendly approach
- Ability to read delivery documents and follow instructions
- Reliable, organised and safety-conscious
- Previous delivery, manufacturing, warehousing or construction experience is an advantage
- Basic computer confidence (training provided)
